Jyoti is an accomplished headhunter and consultant working at Board, Senior and Middle Management level. She has placed hundreds of people in Chair, Chief Executive, Non-Executive Director and Senior Director positions across the Private, Public and Charitable Sectors. An expert in strategic consulting, Jyoti has advised Boards on Leadership, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Recruitment and Talent Management, as well as conducted bespoke sector-specific Business Intelligence projects.

Jyoti previously worked as a Principal with a leading global executive search firm for 15 years and helped to establish their healthcare, public sector and charity practices as well as being one of the Company’s Diversity champions, mentors and trainers. Prior to this she worked as a management trainee at Procter & Gamble.

Educated at King’s College London, Jyoti read Biomedical Sciences and then completed her DPhil in Neuroscience in the Department of Physiology (laboratory of Professor Colin Blakemore) at the University of Oxford. She was sponsored by the Medical Research Council and Hertford College.

Jyoti was shortlisted for Young Achiever of the Year 2002 by the Asian Women of Achievement Awards (AWA Awards) and won Best Researcher of the Year at Odgers Berndtson in 2003.

When she is not working, Jyoti spends time with her husband and three sons. She is also learning how to play the electric guitar, loves to cook and is very involved in the school Parent Teacher’s Associations.
